We were thrilled to celebrate another hugely successful year as 30+ participants came out for Team PJ at the 2020 Talons Challenge event. Our team raised over $50,000 to support SOS Outreach!!! Thank you to everyone for your support and participation.

Talons Challenge | February 22^nd 2020

Save the date -- the 5th annual Team PJ Celebration as part of Beaver Creek's Talons Challenge is scheduled for February 22, 2020! Join the Johnson family at Peter's home mountain, Beaver Creek, to once again celebrate Peter's love of life, skiing, and making a difference in the community. Last year, Team PJ raised over $55,000 - 100% of which directly benefited SOS Outreach. Two SOS Youth Participants, Mario Alvarez and Isabelle Richie, were awarded the 2020 Peter Johnson Legacy Community Leadership Award. This year, let’s further the impact with a goal of $60,000!

WHEN: Saturday, February 22nd, 8AM to 4PM

WHERE: Talons Restaurant and Red Tail Camp, Beaver Creek Resort

WHY? To celebrate the life of Peter Johnson and support the introduction of underserved youth into the sport he loved -- skiing!

How to Register

STEP 1: Visit Beaver Creek's registration site to register for Team PJ
Follow the link above, click the yellow REGISTER HERE button. Another window will open, click on TICKETS, then ENTER PROMO CODE and enter code TeamPJ. Two options will appear: Talons Challenge Team PJ OR Ultimate Talon Team PJ package (which includes a commemorative Helly Hansen backpack).

Registration fee includes lunch, beverage, special 17th edition Talons Challenge swag, and your lanyard and credential! As members of Team PJ, you will also receive special Team PJ swag in recognition of your participation and support of SOS Outreach.

STEP 2: Add Additional Donation to support SOS Outreach.
As part of Team PJ, each participant is asked to make a minimum donation of $200 to support the Peter Johnson Legacy Fund at SOS Outreach and help us reach our goal of $60,000. The Peter Grant Johnson Foundation will generously MATCH every dollar you donate, up to $25,000!
Before clicking Check Out, please add your donation in the "Additional Donation To Support SOS Outreach" section. There is no transaction fee on these donations and 100% will support SOS youth. Plus, register before December 31st to claim your tax receipt this year!

Join Team PJ for the 2019 Talons Challenge, an event that all ages and ski levels and can enjoy—ski, volunteer or just have fun as we raise funds for SOS Outreach! This year, let’s further the impact with a goal of $60,000.
